<title>El testimonio desde el margen.
<link>http://test.repositoriodigital.com:8080/handle/123456789/84373</link>
<description>El testimonio desde el margen.
This article studies the novel El entenado (1983), by Juan José Saer, a singular work that is included within the genre of the new historical novel but which distances itself from its conventions. El entenado does not reflect on a central event in the history of Argentina, nor does it resort to collective testimonies, but rather shifts its gaze to individual testimony and the narration of an almost forgotten, marginal historical event: the failed expedition of Juan Díaz de Solís (1515) and the testimony of the only survivor of the ritual anthropophagy of the Colastiné Indians, the cabin boy Francisco del Puerto. The theoretical tools of this article correspond to the postulates of Georg Lukács’ historical novel and the premises of María Cristina Pons on the new historical novel of the mid-twentieth century in Latin America; all this in dialogue with the author’s poetics expressed in essays and interviews. The focus of this study, however, is not a generic reflection, but the detailed analysis of the various displacements proposed by Saer: the generic, the spatial and the temporal. The movement from the fragmentation of bodiesor the partial discourse of history to the construction of a symbolic meaning is emphasized. The conclusions reflect on how to integrate the excluded elements (historical, social and individual) in the great discourses and how to endow them with meaning.

<title>The dam is a form of border. A notion of environmental historical memory in the work of Carolina Caycedo</title>
<link>http://test.repositoriodigital.com:8080/handle/123456789/84375</link>
<description>The dam is a form of border. A notion of environmental historical memory in the work of Carolina Caycedo; La represa es una forma de frontera.
This text analyzes a series of works about rivers and dams by artist Carolina Caycedo entitled Be Dammed. (2012-present). The main question this research addresses is how do the aesthetic strategies of these works identify the socio-ecological problems generated by dams and  ontribute to articulate political imaginaries of sustainability? The main argument is that Caycedo’s works on the Magdalena or  uma river contribute to the construction of an environmental historical memory based on popular knowledge, peasants and indigenous cosmovisions. To this end, this text characterizes the problem of the dams based on Macarena Gómez-Barris notion of extractivismo, Rob Nixon’s concept of deterritorialization, and then it embarks on a journey through the artist’s works, from whose analysis a characterization of the environmental historical memory of a segment of the Magdalena or Yuma River is constructed. The conceptual framework of the work includes the notions of  arthbeingsby Marisol de la Cadena and territory by Arturo Escobar, as well as the memory of the rivers by Kristina Lyons. The methodology is based on the conceptual and technical analysis of Caycedo’s art pieces within the interdisciplinary framework of Environmental Humanities. The analysis concludes that Caycedo’s works generate spaces of environmental historical memory from transnational perspectives and in these spaces of encounter that constitute the works, the extremes of false antagonisms as nature/culture, human /non-human and art/science and are related and rearticulated.; En este artículo se analiza un conjunto de obras sobre ríos y represas que pertenece a la serie titulada Represa /Represión (2012-) de la artista colombiana Carolina Caycedo.

<title>Real truth in the framework of Xavier Zubiri's sentient intelligence</title>
<link>http://test.repositoriodigital.com:8080/handle/123456789/84370</link>
<description>Real truth in the framework of Xavier Zubiri's sentient intelligence; La verdad real en el marco de la inteligencia sentiente de Xavier Zubiri
This article analyzes the category of real truth in the thought of the Spanish philosopher Xavier Zubiri. The study is structured in four sections, in which we start with an introduction to the main elements of the theory of truth developed by this author, and then we propose an approach based on the theses present in Sobre la esencia, delving specifically into what is related to real truth and its dimensions within the framework of sentient intellection. Then we study the course given in 1966 entitled Man and Truth, in which truth is visualized as a constitutive element of human reality, emphasizing in a particular way its link with historicity. Finally, the first volume of the trilogy on sentient intelligence is assumed as a key input to understand Zubiri's mature thought on this subject. The research problem that structures this research revolves around the question: What are the foundations of the real truth posed by Xavier Zubiri in the framework of sentient intelligence? It is intended that its scope offers a systematized input to the reader interested in Zubiri's work on one of his most important themes. Methodologically, we have opted for a direct reading of the primary sources, from an eminently hermeneutic perspective. It is concluded that the Zubirian theory of truth is located at the primary and original level, where there is no room for error.; En este artículo se realiza un análisis de la categoría de verdad real en el pensamiento del filósofo español Xavier Zubiri.
