dc.description	This article is part of the results of the investigation The Dual Nature of Technical Artifacts from the INSTITUTO TECNOLOGICO METROPOLITANO. The program The Dual Nature of Technical Artifacts-DNTA notes that technical artifacts have a dual nature. On the one hand, they are immersed in the physical world, made of material that acts under causal laws. On the other hand, they are designed by agents for a purpose and functions which fail to satisfy a need or desire. This program is suggestive and interesting, but seems to have a ballast of atomism. It says that nothing can be without human a artifact, therefore, they cannot exist as isolated artifacts are creation´s designed networks. It attempts to show that this program should include the bonds of the complex social and technical network in which humans live.	en-US
dc.description	Este artículo hace parte de los resultados de la investigación La Naturaleza Dual de los Artefactos Técnicos del INSTITUTO TECNOLÓGICO METROPOLITANO. El programa The Dual Nature of Technical Artifacts-DNTA señala que los artefactos técnicos, tienen una naturaleza dual, por un lado, están inmersos en el mundo físico, constituidos de materia actuando bajo leyes causales. Por otro lado, fueron concebidos por agentes con fines, funciones y propósitos persiguiendo suplir una necesidad o deseo. Este programa es sugestivo e interesante, pero parece tener un lastre de atomismo. Se afirma que nada puede ser artefacto sin los humanos, en consecuencia, no pueden existir artefactos aislados pues son creaciones concebidas en redes. Se intenta mostrar que este  programa debe incluir los lazos de la compleja red técnico-social en la que vivimos los humanos.	es-ES
