dc.descriptionQualitative research depends on the views of the participants. The main purpose of qualitative research is to understand and interpret social interactions. Often the researcher wishes to explore a perplexing problem, providing a detailed understanding  of a central phenomenon and seeks to appreciate the  participants’ experiences (1). The researcher collects  information that is not in  numerical form, which is typically descriptive data. Think of the word 'quality' –  because we  are taking a deep "quality ” look at a  phenomenon.en-US
dc.descriptionLa investigación cualitativa depende del punto de vista de los participantes. Su principal propósito es entender e interpretar las interacciones sociales. A menudo los investigadores desean explorar problemas complejos, suministrando un entendimiento detalledo de un fenómeno central, y busca apreciar las experiencias de los participantes.(1) El investigador recolecta información que no está disponible de forma numérica, sino que es información descriptiva. Debemos pensar en la palabra "calidad", porque la investigación cualitativa busca realizar una mirada profunda de "calidad" al fenómeno.es-ES
