dc.descriptionLos acontecimientos de 1968 se reconocen hoy como la primera revolución cultural planetaria. América Latina no fue ajena a los grandes cambios de una época reconocida por movimientos sociales culturales y por protestas universitarias. Aún no se conoce un balance sobre la historiografía continental de este acontecimiento. El presente artículo intenta señalar las limitaciones de las investigaciones colombianas, marcadas por su carácter fragmentario y disperso. A nivel continental se exploran los casos de México, Argentina y Brasil con el propósito de acercarse a corrientes, enfoques y miradas más allá de las fronteras nacionales que renueven y contextualicen nuestros trabajos. De este modo, se procura ayudar a construir un mapa historiográfico que ubique a las nuevas generaciones de investigadores interesados en el movimiento estudiantil, para que se consolide un campo de investigación y reflexión a nivel nacional.
dc.descriptionThe events of 1968 are known today as the first world cultural revolution. Latin America was not far from the changes of an era known for socio cultural movements and for university protests. A balance on continental historiography on this event is still unknown. This paper attempts to point out limitations on Colombian researches, affected by their fragmentary and disperse nature. On the continental level, cases in Mexico, Argentina and Brazil, are explored with the purpose of approaching to strands, focuses and gazes beyond national borders that refresh and contextualize our papers. In this way, it is ensured to help building a historiographic map that locates new generations of researchers interested in the student's movement, for a research and reflection field to be consolidated in the national level.
