| dc.description | This article is a sensible approach to emergency remote education and the challenges arising for the educational community in facing the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to problematize this challenge, it starts from a review of the concepts around distance education, virtual education and emergency remote education to differentiate these types of education. Similarly, the role of the teacher in these scenarios is considered and some recommendations are made on remote education to be considered in the teaching practice. Subsequently, topics are addressed to reflect on the difficulties, challenges and opportunities that have arisen during the pandemic. Thus, first of all, we discuss the networks of knowledge, the training that the teacher requires in ICT, and how they can adapt to their use in times of crisis. Second, the importance of the teacher in the community and their role in remote education is highlighted. Third, we analyze the type of assessment for remote education, what and how to assess are analyzed. Finally, it is emphasized that each context must be adapted to the needs; however, we can consider recommendations for good teaching practices that could be applied to most remote classes to facilitate our work. | en-US |
