| dc.description | Sexual dysfunction is a broad term that encompasses several symptoms that have been defined by the International Continence Society (ICS) and the International Urogynecology Association (IUGA). Some sexual symptoms are specific to pelvic floor dysfunction, such as dyspareunia and vaginal dryness. There are currently several questions about the use of episiotomy or other obstetric techniques commonly used during childbirth and their relationship to sexual dysfunction during the puerperium. | |
