dc.descriptionLa Violencia Escolar se ha incrementado en las diferentes Instituciones Educativas, de acuerdo a estudios realizados por la Secretaría de Gobierno y la Universidad de los Andes, entre otros; por lo tanto, se realizó una investigación acerca del estado actual de la Inteligencia Emocional y la Violencia Escolar de los estudiantes de ciclo tres (quinto, sexto y séptimo), en la Institución Educativa Distrital Altamira Sur Oriental. El estudio es descriptivo, de enfoque cualitativo, con una muestra de 249 estudiantes. Se utilizaron como técnicas de recolección de datos: Escala de Inteligencia Emocional TMMS-24, Encuesta de Clima Escolar y Victimización 2013 (Secretaría de Educación Distrital) y la Escala Abreviada del Cuestionario de Intimidación Escolar CIE-A. Los resultados obtenidos revelan que el factor de Regulación Emocional, debe aumentar en los estudiantes, puesto que, se encuentra por debajo del valor estimado. Así mismo, hay presencia de violencia escolar, siendo más recurrente la agresión verbal, evidenciándose más en los hombres tanto en el rol de víctimas como victimarios. Se propone una estrategia pedagógica adaptada basada en talleres, enfocados al fortalecimiento de la Inteligencia Emocional, como factor protector de la Violencia Escolar.
dc.descriptionThe School Violence has increased in the different educational institutions, according to studies by the Secretary of Government and the University of the Andes, among others; therefore, was performed an inquiry into the current state of Emotional Intelligence and School Violence of student of cycle three (fifth, sixth and seventh) in the Educational District Institution Altamira South Oriental. The study is descriptive, of qualitative approach, with a sample of 249 students. Were used as data collection techniques: Scale Emotional Intelligence TMMS-24, Survey School Climate and Victimization 2013 (District Secretary of Education) and the Scale Abbreviated the Questionnaire School Bullying CIE-A. The results show that the factor of Emotional Regulation, should increase in students, since, is below the estimated value. Likewise, school violence is present, being more recurrent verbal aggression, evidenced more in men so much in the role of both victims as victimizer. It is proposed a pedagogical strategy adapted based in workshops, focused to strengthening emotional intelligence, as a protective factor of School Violence.
