dc.descriptionPara la docencia, el concepto herramientas informáticas ingreso generado retos sobre todo en la forma de ver las cosas, es decir, se planteó la posibilidad de salir del aula presencial en donde se trabajó con tiza y marcador, saltando al contexto virtual en donde la herramienta informática es un lápiz y pizarrón de funcionalidad y en donde el espacio de clase puede variar según el gusto del estudiante. Las ciencias de la salud (entre ellas la medicina) no quedaron exentas de tal desarrollo y ahora, en el siglo XXI, se ven necesitadas en generar un cambio en su cultura en los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje, no solo al interior de la academia sino también en del contexto médico-hospitalario, teniendo muy en cuenta lo dinámico del sector y el gran aporte que la tecnología hace en este sector.

The health sciences (including medicine) were not exempt from such development and now, in the 21st century, they are needed to generate a change in their culture in the teaching-learning processes, not only within the academy but also in the medical-hospital context, taking into account the dynamics of the sector and the great contribution that technology makes in this sector.
