dc.descriptionDurante estos últimos años se está dando a conocer una nueva metodología de trabajo para proyectos de construcción llamada Building Information Modeling (BIM); específicamente en los sectores de la arquitectura, ingeniería y construcción y está llamada a ser el futuro de este mercado. En la actualidad, los sistemas de gestión de proyectos aplicados al sector de la construcción si bien han tenido un considerable avance a nivel mundial, en el mercado colombiano es casi nulo, salvo algunos casos que comienzan a tener un liderazgo dado su nivel de competitividad. Sin embargo, al final y de manera general se mantiene una resistencia al cambio en la forma de trabajar tradicionalmente. Por lo anterior, este artículo tiene como fin conceptualizar, mostrar los beneficios, usos y análisis de la metodología BIM frente la metodología tradicional de elaboración de proyectos en construcción. Y finalmente, en la parte práctica, se describirá la eficiencia de esta metodología desarrollando un proyecto con BIM.
dc.descriptionIn recent years it is releasing a new methodology for construction projects called Building Information Modeling (BIM); specifically in the fields of architecture, engineering and construction and is destined to be the future of this market. Currently, systems project management applied to the construction sector although they have made considerable progress worldwide in the Colombian market is almost zero, except for some cases beginning to have leadership given its level of competitiveness. However, the end and generally resistance change is maintained in the form of traditionally work. Therefore, this article aims to conceptualize, show the benefits, uses and analysis of the BIM methodology versus traditional methodology for preparing projects under construction. And finally, in practice, the efficiency of this methodology will be discussed developing a project with BIM.
