| dc.description | Given the significant advances in information technology and generative artificial intelligence (AI-Gen) tools that are ushering us into a new era of innovation, education, and in particular the learning process, plays a fundamental role in addressing the transition to an educational paradigm that brings together constructivist, humanistic, and technological contributions. In this context, this article analyzes the benefits, potential, risks, and biases of incorporating AI into the learning process and proposes an educational model with a humanistic and integrative vision, such as Nussbaum's human capabilities approach, which recognizes students and their environment, provides them with tools to develop their capacity for agency, and strengthens the development of ethical competencies. The analysis carried out leads to the conclusion that the proper management of AI requires moving toward integrative and holistic educational models that link these tools to the curriculum structure and give teachers a role as mediators and catalysts with the aim of designing a learning experience that contributes to the construction of a more just and equitable society. | |
