dc.descriptionThe seedbed group of the Extension of the Tecnoacademia Nodo Tolima carried out the design and construction of an automatic artificial incubation system on a small scale, which guarantees optimal conditions for the development of the embryo, through the control of environmental variables. The expected result with the implementation of the prototype is to obtain a representative increase in the efficiency of the incubation process, that is, in the number of successful hatches obtained. Initially, the artificial incubation cycle is explored of poultry eggs, starting from the natural process, where they are identified and they establish the physical variables, the conditions and the relevant aspects of each phase. During the experimentation and testing phase of the device, it was possible to establish a average efficiency of 57.68% in the incubation process, very low for the expectations that had been raised. El resultado esperadocon la implementación del prototipo es obtener un aumento representativoen la eficiencia del proceso de incubación, es decir, en el número de nacimientosexitosos obtenidos. Inicialmente, se explora el ciclo de la incubación artificialde huevos de aves de corral, partiendo del proceso natural, donde se identifican y seestablecen las variables físicas, las condiciones y los aspectos relevantes de cada fase.Durante la fase de experimentación y prueba del dispositivo, se logró establecer unaeficiencia promedio del 57,68% en el proceso de incubación, muy baja para las expectativasque se habían planteado.
