dc.description | The mobile devices allow a wide variety of tasks at any time and place, making it an option to strengthen the reach of virtual education processes and enabling the design of virtual environments that promote experiences according to the needs of the learners. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to examine the undergraduate students’ perception of the Engineering Organization Department (DIO - UNALMED) about mobile learning. For this, it has raised an exploratory research from quantitative methodological designs (self-administered questionnaires) and qualitative (depth interviews). It is concluded that although there is easy access to these devices, the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) focused on learning processes are generally little used and students prefer applications related to leisure and entertainment. | en-US |
dc.description | Los dispositivos móviles permiten realizar una amplia variedad de tareas en cualquier momento y lugar, convirtiéndose en una opción para fortalecer el alcance de los procesos de educación virtual y permitiendo el diseño de ambientes virtuales que propicien experiencias de acuerdo con las necesidades de los aprendices. Por lo anterior, el objetivo del presente artículo es examinar la percepción en los estudiantes universitarios del Departamento de Ingeniería de la Organización (DIO - UNALMED) acerca del mobile learning. Para esto se ha planteado una investigación de carácter exploratorio a partir de diseños metodológicos cuantitativos (cuestionarios auto-administrados) y cualitativos (entrevistas a profundidad). Se concluye que aunque existe facilidad de acceso a estos dispositivos, las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) enfocadas en procesos de aprendizaje son poco utilizadas y generalmente los estudiantes prefieren aplicaciones relacionadas con ocio y entretenimiento. | es-ES |
dc.description | Os dispositivos móveis permitem realizar uma ampla variedade de tarefas em qualquer momento e lugar, convertendo numa opção para fortalecer o alcance dos processos de educação virtual e permitindo o desenho de ambientes virtuais que propiciem experiências de acordo com as necessidades dos aprendices. Pelo anterior, o objectivo do presente artigo é examinar a percepção nos estudantes universitários do Departamento de Engenharia da Organização DEU - UNALMED a respeito do mobile learning. Para isto se propôs uma investigação de carácter exploratorio a partir de desenhos metodológicos quantitativos (questionários auto-administrados e qualitativos (entrevistas a profundidade). Conclui-se que ainda que existe facilidade de acesso a estes dispositivos, as tecnologias da informação e a comunicação (TIC) focadas em processos de aprendizagem são pouco utilizadas, e geralmente os estudantes preferem aplicações relacionadas com lazer e entretenimento. | pt-BR |
