dc.descriptionthe main purpose of this article is to present an analysis of the current crisis in the financing of the inter-american human rights system and the implications this may have for the protection of human rights of the countries that have accepted its competence. for this purpose, the current forms of financing will be addressed, and the reader will be shown what is the current situation of this financing, as well as the factors that have contributed to the underfunding of this system, such as the alterations in the commitments acquired by states that voluntarily provide resources for the operation of this system. likewise, some proposals are outlined that could in some way contribute to strengthening the commitment of the states in their duty to provide the necessary resources to an instance that means a further guarantee for the human rights of its citizens.en-US
dc.descriptionel presente artículo, tiene como propósito principal presentar un análisis frente a la crisis actual del financiamiento del sistema interamericano de derechos humanos y las implicaciones que ello puede tener para la protección de los derechos humanos de los países que han aceptado su competencia. para efectos de ello, se abordarán las formas de financiación actuales, y se mostrara al lector cual es la situación actual de este financiamiento, así como los factores que han contribuido al desfinanciamiento de este sistema, como lo son las alteraciones en los compromisos adquiridos por los estados que voluntariamente proveen de recursos para el funcionamiento de este sistema. así mismo, se esbozan algunas propuestas que podrían de alguna manera contribuir con el fortalecimiento del compromiso de los estados en su deber de proveer de los recursos necesarios, a una instancia que significa una garantía más para los derechos humanos de sus ciudadanos.es-ES
