dc.descriptionThe constitutional and democratic systems provide for a clear division of powers, in which there is a system of checks and balances that balances the power held by each of the Branches in the organic structure of the State. In Colombia there is a division of Public Power Branches, in which the legislative branch plays a major role and influences the application of the constitutional system of law and the exercise of democracy and representativeness of the Colombian people. The Congress of the Republic is the body that promulgates the laws in Colombia, therefore, the degree of legitimacy of its members and their decisions is of vital importance for the implementation and compliance with the rules that govern the society. Corruption and links with illegal armed groups, as well as illegitimate decisions away from reality affect the acceptance and legitimacy of the legislator. Using the methodology of contesting judgments in the process of legitimation, we analyze the authority of the legislator in Colombia.en-US
dc.descriptionLos sistemas constitucionales y democráticos prevén una división clara de poderes, en la cual exista un sistema de pesos y contrapesos que equilibre el poder detentado por cada una de las Ramas en la estructura orgánica del Estado. En Colombia existe una división de las Ramas del Poder Público, en la cual el poder legislativo tiene gran protagonismo e incidencia en la aplicación del sistema constitucional de derecho y el ejercicio de la democracia y representatividad del pueblo colombiano. El Congreso de la República es el órgano que promulga las leyes en Colombia, por tanto el grado de legitimidad de sus miembros y sus decisiones es de vital importancia para la implementación y cumplimiento de las normas que rigen la sociedad. La corrupción y los vínculos con grupos armados ilegales, así como decisiones ilegítimas y alejadas de la realidad afectan la aceptación y la legitimidad del legislador. Usando la metodología de impugnación a los juicios en el proceso de legitimación, analizamos la autoridad del legislador en Colombia.es-ES
