dc.descriptionThis article aimed to describe the characteristics of innovative leadership that drive innovation culture in Entrepreneurship Units of Higher Education Institutions Department of the Atlantic, Colombia. Drawing on the theoretical postulates of authors such as Lyons (2011), Hellriegel, Jackson & Slocum (2009), Castrillón (2011), among others. Research responded to a descriptive research with non-experimental design, field; the population was composed of eighteen (18) Entrepreneurship Units of Higher Education Institutions Department of the Atlantic. Purposive sampling by selecting a sample of nine (9) Entrepreneurship Units. 32-item questionnaire with Likert scale, validated by five (5) experts and a reliability of 0,94 with Cronbach alpha coefficient was used. The findings showed that the characteristics of innovative leadership are moderately present in the culture of innovation, which is corroborated reflected in indicators of intrapreneurship spirit, teamwork and decision making.en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente artículo tuvo como objetivo describir las características del liderazgo innovador que impulsan la cultura de la innovación en las Unidades de Emprendimiento de las Instituciones de Educación Superior del departamento del Atlántico, Colombia. Recurriendo a los postulados teóricos de autores como Lyons (2011), Hellriegel, Jackson & Slocum (2009), o Castrillón (2011), entre otros. La Investigación respondió a una investigación de tipo descriptiva con un diseño no experimental, de campo, transeccional; la población estuvo compuesta por Dieciocho (18) Unidades de Emprendimiento de las Instituciones de Educación Superior del Departamento del Atlántico. Seleccionando mediante un muestreo intencional una muestra de nueve (9) Unidades de Emprendimiento. Se empleó un cuestionario de 32 ítems con escala Likert, validado por cinco (5) expertos y con una confiabilidad de 0,94 con el coeficiente alpha de Cronbach. Los hallazgos encontrados, mostraron que las características del liderazgo innovador se encuentran moderadamente presente en la cultura de la innovación, lo cual se corrobora con lo reflejado en los indicadores de espíritu Intraemprendedor, trabajo en equipo y toma de decisiones.es-ES
