dc.descriptionThis submission supports the thesis of convergence between epistemology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) program. This is called the engineering turn of epistemology and is part of the trend of naturalization in the study of knowledge and the process of knowing. The exposure is deployed in three stages. The first one is about the struggle between the logical approach and psychologistic approach. The second one appeal to trace an historical view of epistemology and introduces the concept of “exosomatization of knowing”. Finally, the third stage addresses the engineering turn itself. At last, an open conclusion arises in terms of questions about the future of science, arguing that nowadays science is just passing through an early stage, in some kind of transition equivalent to that experienced in manufacture during the Industrial Revolution.en-US
dc.descriptionLa presente comunicación defiende la tesis de la convergencia entre epistemología y el programa de Inteligencia Artificial (IA). A esto se le denomina el giro ingenieril de la epistemología y hace parte de la tendencia a la naturalización del estudio del conocimiento y del proceso de conocer. Para ello el autor despliega la exposición en tres etapas. Primero aborda la lucha entre el enfoque lógico y el enfoque psicologista. En segunda instancia traza una mirada histórica a la epistemología e introduce el concepto de “exosomatización del conocer”. Y en tercer término aborda el giro ingenieril propiamente dicho. Finalmente se plantea una conclusión abierta, valga la paradoja, en términos de interrogantes sobre el futuro de la ciencia, sosteniendo que esta hoy apenas se encuentra en una etapa infantil, en una transición equivalente a la que vivió la manufactura durante la Revolución Industrial.es-ES
