dc.descriptionThe integration of business intelligence in information systems has the potential to transform information into knowledge, allowing optimization of business decision-making processes. The following proposed research project consists of applying business intelligence focused on learning management systems (LMS) in order to improve processes, which would allow, in addition to standardizing and classifying information, to be replicated in other areas of the organization to as knowledge is assimilated. This work aims to present a view of the general behavior of students in the Canvas learning management system, to perform an analysis and recognition of the information stored in the application's databases in order to identify the indicators that allow us to carry out a analysis of the students giving as a starting point a dashboard based on business intelligence.  en-US
dc.descriptionLa integración de la inteligencia de negocios en los sistemas de información posee el potencial para transformar la información en conocimiento, permitiendo optimizar los procesos en las tomas de decisiones en los negocios. El siguiente proyecto de investigación propuesto consiste en aplicar la inteligencia de negocios enfocada en los sistemas de gestión de aprendizaje (LMS) con el fin de mejorar procesos, que permitiría además de estandarizar y clasificar la información, ser replicada en otras áreas de la organización a medida que el conocimiento sea asimilado. Este trabajo pretende presentar una visión del comportamiento general de los estudiantes en el sistema de gestión de aprendizaje Canvas, realizar un análisis y reconocimiento de la información almacenada en las bases de datos de la aplicación con el fin de identificar los indicadores que nos permitan realizar un análisis de los estudiantes dando como punto de partida un tablero de control basado en inteligencia de negocios.es-ES
