dc.description	The Goldenhar Syndrome is a disorder characterized by the presence of craniofacial and vertebral anomalies. It was first described in 1950, but their molecular aspects have not been fully clarified. Case report: This paper aims to describe the case of a female patient 9 months old in whom phenotypic characteristics of this condition is unknown evidenced since birth, further including a review of the most important aspects of this disease. Conclusions: The initial approach to the patient with a diagnosis of Goldenhar syndrome is complex, must be considered various differential diagnoses to reach a correct diagnosis with early treatment also should be multidisciplinary and comprehensive.	en-US
dc.description	El síndrome de Goldenhar es un trastorno caracterizado por la presencia de anomalías craneofaciales y vertebrales. Fue descrito inicialmente en 1950, sin embargo sus aspectos moleculares no han sido totalmente aclarados. Caso clínico: Paciente femenina de 9 meses de edad en quien se evidenciaron desde su nacimiento características fenotípicas de esta desconocida condición; se incluye una revisión de los aspectos más importante de este síndrome. Conclusiones: El abordaje inicial del paciente con diagnóstico de síndrome de Goldenhar es complejo, se deben considerar diversos diagnósticos diferenciales para llegar a un abordaje correcto con tratamiento temprano que además debe ser multidisciplinario e integral.	es-ES
