dc.descriptionThe case of a 13-year-old patient attended at the Club Noel Children's Clinic Foundation in the city of Cali, Colombia, between the months of September and November 2018, who presented acute kidney failure that required management with renal replacement therapy, autoimmune hepatitis and thrombotic microangiopathy type atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (SHUa), events confirmed by liver and kidney biopsy, and positive ADAMTS test 13. Clinical, diagnostic tests and the multifocal therapeutic approach consisting of renal replacement therapy, steroids, plasmapheresis and immunosuppressants are described.en-US
dc.descriptionSe presenta el caso de un paciente de 13 años atendida en la Fundación Clínica Infantil Club Noel de la ciudad de Cali, Colombia, entre los meses de septiembre y noviembre del 2018, quien presentó falla renal aguda que requirió manejo con terapia de reemplazo renal, hepatitis autoinmune y microangiopatía trombótica tipo Síndrome Hemolítico Urémico atípico (SHUa), eventos confirmados por biopsia hepática, renal y prueba positiva de ADAMTS 13. Se describen clínica, pruebas diagnósticas y el enfoque terapéutico multifocal consistente en terapia de reemplazo renal, esteroides, plasmaferesis e inmunosupresores.es-ES
