dc.descriptionThe deterioration of water supply sources directly affects the level of health risk present and in the type of treatment required to reduce it; the evaluation of water quality allows to take control actions and mitigate the same, guaranteeing the supply of safe water (Torres etal., 2009, p. 79), This study sought to clarify the efficiency of the wastewater treatment plants in the Comunera province, for which bibliographic information was collected from the different databases and at the same time information was requested regarding the wastewater treatment plants in their respective municipalities. With this information, the an statistical analysis of the different variables was carry out, which led to the conclusion that only 23% of the municipalities of the province have a treatment system and that these have high margins of difference in terms of efficiency, showing that the PTAR of the municipality of Guapota is the most efficient when studying the removal of the different parameters.en-US
dc.description“El deterioro de las fuentes de abastecimiento de agua incide directamente en el nivel de riesgo sanitario presente y en el tipo de tratamiento requerido para su reducción; la evaluación de la calidad del agua permite tomar acciones de control y mitigación del mismo, garantizando el suministro de agua segura” (Torres, Cruz, & Patiño, 2009, p. 79), con este estudio se buscó dar claridad de la eficiencia en la actualidad de las plantas de tratamiento de agua residual (PTAR) en la provincia comunera, para lo cual se recolectó información bibliográfica de las diferentes bases de datos y a su vez se pidió información referente a las PTAR en sus respectivos municipios, con esta información se procedió a realizar el análisis estadístico de las diferentes variables que llevaron a concluir  que solo el 23% de los municipios de la provincia cuentan con sistema de tratamiento y que a su vez estos se encuentran con altos márgenes de diferencia en cuanto a su eficiencia, demostrando ser la PTAR  del municipio de Guapota la más eficiente al estudiar la remoción de los diferentes parámetros.es-ES
