dc.descriptionThe  present  research  project  describes in  detail  the  pedagogical  intervention  ca-rried out at the Rafael Pombo High School in San Gil - Santander, in the third grade, where  it  was  observed  that  the  students showed flaws in the solution of mathema-tical problems related to basic operations; For this reason, the idea was born of crea-ting  a  pedagogical  strategy  that  would allow for the promotion of improvement in performance levels in third grade students regarding the analysis and interpretation of problems around basic operations through the use of recreational mathematics in spa-ces of complementary day.The design of the research is due to action research  with  a  mixed  approach,  whose type of research is case studies. It began with the direct observation and application of a diagnostic test, followed by the cons-truction,  execution  and  evaluation  of  the pedagogical  proposal,  subsequently  con-cluded with the analysis and interpretation of the results.It is necessary to highlight the importance of  creating  recreational-pedagogical  spa-ces  that  motivate  students  and  allow  to strengthen the resolution of problems with basic  operations,  as  well  as  generate  an  environment conducive to meaningful lear-ningen-US
dc.descriptionEl  presente  proyecto  investigativo  des-cribe  minuciosamente  la  intervención  pe-dagógica  realizada  en  el  Liceo  Superior  Rafael Pombo de San Gil - Santander, en el grado tercero, donde se pudo observar que los estudiantes evidenciaban falencias en la solución de problemas matemáticos relacionados  con  las  operaciones  bási-cas;  por  tal  motivo  nace  la  idea  de  crear  una  estrategia  pedagógica  que  permitiera  promover en los estudiantes de grado ter-cero  la mejora en los niveles  de desem-peño referentes al análisis e interpretación de  problemas  en  torno  a  las  operaciones  básicas mediante el uso de la matemática recreativa en espacios de jornada comple-mentaria.El  diseño  de  la  investigación  obedece  a investigación-acción  con  un  enfoque  mix-to, cuyo tipo de investigación es el estudio de  casos.  Inició  con  la  observación  direc-ta y aplicación de una prueba diagnóstica, seguida  de  la  construcción,  ejecución  y  evaluación  de  la  propuesta  pedagógica,  posteriormente se concluyó con el análisis e interpretación de los resultados.Es preciso resaltar la importancia de crear espacios  lúdico-  pedagógicos      que  moti-ven  al  estudiantado  y  permitan  fortalecer  la  resolución  de  problemas  con  las  ope-raciones  básicas,  así  mismo  generar  un  ambiente propicio para el aprendizaje sig-nificativoes-ES
