dc.description	Maintenance management is an inherent function within industrial processes where the relationship of the activities performed is between the continuous interaction of machine-man. This process must be managed in a responsible manner and under strict safety guidelines; this process is in turn a tool for risk management, industrial hygiene, healthy environments and environments, in other words, this in turn promotes the management of safety and health at work through the increase of existing controls and continuously demanding the updating and maintenance of variables and process data. Different actions for improvement and decision making start from the correct planning and management of maintenance, integrally involving all organizational levels, since the basis of the industry is the machines. Through the engineering of the technical area there is a preliminary control of the risks from the design of the machines, and its consecutive processes until the assembly and execution of the same ones, it is necessary to maintain these processes free of the dangers that the industrial activity represents with the operation of machines, then, it is part of the risk management and this is achieved through the management of the maintenance, constant supervision and that this in turn provides safe machinery, processes and security for those who work and interact in this field. Among the different forms of maintenance, all of them have a purpose and that is to maintain the optimal and efficient operation of the machines and try to minimize the risks that their operation generates.	en-US
dc.description	La gestión del mantenimiento es una función inherente dentro de los procesos industriales donde la relación de las actividades realizadas se da entre la interacción continua de máquina-hombre. Dicho proceso debe gestionarse de manera responsable y bajo lineamientos estrictos de seguridad; este proceso se constituye a su vez en una herramienta de gestión del riesgo, higiene industrial, entornos y ambientes saludables, dicho de otra manera, este a su vez promueve la gestión de la seguridad y salud en el trabajo a través del aumento los controles existentes y exigiendo continuamente ejercer labores de actualización y mantención de variables y datos del proceso. Distintas acciones de mejora y toma de decisiones parten de la correcta planificación y gestión del mantenimiento involucrando integralmente a todos los niveles organizacionales ya que la base de la industria es las máquinas. A través de la ingeniería del área técnica se da un control preliminar de los riesgos desde el diseño de las máquinas, y sus consecutivos procesos hasta el montaje y ejecución de los mismos, se necesita mantener estos procesos libres de los peligros que representa la actividad industrial con la operación de máquinas, luego, hace parte de la gestión del riesgo y esto se logra a través de la gestión del mantenimiento, supervisión constante y que esta a su vez provee maquinaria segura, procesos y seguridad para quienes laboran e interactúan en este campo. Entre las distintas formas de mantenimiento, todas contienen una finalidad y es mantener el funcionamiento óptimo, eficiente de las máquinas y procurar minimizar los riesgos que su operación genera.	es-ES
