dc.descriptionThe history of the indigenous communities in Colombia and their land, the reason for their existence, has been a history of multiple violations. It is not necessary to go back to the ethnocide of the aboriginal communities perpetrated by the arrival of the white man: It is here and now; Indigenous communities have been, after Afro-Colombians, the most violent population in a conflict that has lasted for more than 50 years. We observe that the life of the indigenous communities and the relationship with their lands are currently precarious. The conditions in which they live are not optimal to fully develop and so that their culture, which revolves around the earth, is practiced harmoniously. Although there is a normative set that protects them, the truth is that they contrast with their practical reality.en-US
dc.descriptionLa historia de las comunidades indígenas en Colombia y su tierra, la razón de su existencia, ha sido una historia de múltiples vulneraciones. No es necesario remontarse al etnocidio de las comunidades aborígenes perpetrada por la arribada del hombre blanco: Es aquí y ahora; las comunidades indígenas han sido, después de los afrocolombianos, la población más violentada en un conflicto que se ha extendido por más de 50 años. Observamos que la vida de las comunidades indígenas y la relación con sus tierras actualmente son precarias. Las condiciones en que estas habitan no son óptimas para desarrollarse plenamente y para que su cultura, que gira alrededor de la tierra, sea practicada de forma armónica. Si bien existe un conjunto normativo que las protege, lo cierto es que estos contrastan con su realidad práctica.es-ES
