dc.descriptionThe General Pension System in Colombia was created with the objective of guaranteeing protection to the population in old age and against possible eventualities both in disability and death. Everything was embodied with the issuance of Law 100 of 1993, stipulating there a system that would work under a scheme made up of two solidarity regimes: the Average Premium Scheme with Defined Benefit (RPM) and the Individual Savings Scheme with Solidarity (RAIS). In this way, a competition was created in the search to attract affiliates, each promoting himself with the benefits and advantages offered to achieve the largest recruitment of affiliates. Despite everything, and the legal modifications made, the system remains inequitable due to many factors.en-US
dc.descriptionEl Sistema General de Pensiones en Colombia fue creado con el objetivo de garantizar a la población el amparo en la vejez y ante las posibles eventualidades tanto en la invalidez como en la muerte. Todo fue plasmado consagrado con la expedición de la Ley 100 de 1993, estipulando allí un sistema que funcionaria bajo un esquema compuesto por dos regímenes solidarios: el Régimen de Prima Media con Prestación Definida (RPM) y el Régimen de Ahorro Individual con Solidaridad (RAIS). Se creó así una competencia en la búsqueda de captar afiliados, promoviéndose cada uno con los beneficios y ventajas que ofrece para lograr la mayor captación de afiliados. A pesar de todo, y las modificaciones legales realizadas, el sistema sigue siendo inequitativo por muchos factores.es-ES
