dc.description	The pharmaceutical industry has played an important role in the Colombian context; In recent years SMEs have had greater participation in the market with over 60% level. Aware of the above fact, the aim of this paper is to analyze the small and medium enterprises that are in the pharmaceutical sector of Bogota; to this end, it is envisaged to analyze the main aspects of the industry at country level and at the level Bogotá. dc.description	La industria farmacéutica ha jugado un papel importante en el contexto colombiano; en los últimos años las pymes han tenido una mayor participación en el mercado con un nivel superior al 60%. Conscientes de la realidad anterior, el objetivo del presente artículo es realizar un análisis de las pequeñas y medianas empresas que se encuentran en el sector farmacéutico de Bogotá; para tal efecto, se contempla analizar los principales aspectos de la industria a nivel país, así como a nivel Bogotá. Finalmente se realizara un análisis financiero de los principales indicadores de los últimos 10 años para el período comprendido entre el 2004 al 2014	es-ES
