dc.descriptionThe offender, as a person who violates criminal law, is a subject who requires special treatment that aims to re-socialize the community, such that the penalty or sanction imposed on the person responsible for the commission of a crime must fulfill this purpose, leading to that the prisoner does not repeat the offense again. "The intervention and treatment of criminals, as well as the assessment of their risk level for the commission of new crimes is a necessity, not only at the judicial and prison level, but also a social demand" (Nguyen, Lucioni & Pueyo, 2011 , p. 274).en-US
dc.descriptionEl delincuente, como persona que infringe la ley penal, es un sujeto que requiere un tratamiento especial que tenga como fin la resocialización de éste a la comunidad, de tal manera que la pena o sanción que se le impone al responsable de la comisión de un delito debe cumplir con esta finalidad, conllevando a que el penado no reincida nuevamente en la infracción de las normas. “La intervención y el tratamiento de los delincuentes, así como la valoración de su nivel de riesgo para comisión de nuevos delitos es una necesidad, no solo a nivel judicial y penitenciario, sino también una demanda social” (Nguyen, Lucioni & Pueyo, 2011, p. 274). es-ES
