dc.description	The assessment of financial movements has been, since its inception in Colombia, a subject of arduous discussion mainly due to its characteristics and form of application. In this work, a historical and conceptual exploration of the origin of this tribute in the world is realized, as well as the adaptation in some countries analyzing its effect and results. The methodology used is qualitative of documentary type, which allowed to study laws, regulations and documents referenced to analyze the implementation, characterization, history, effects and results generated in the economies that included them in its system.	en-US
dc.description	El gravamen a los movimientos financieros ha sido desde su nacimiento en Colombia un tema de ardua discusión principalmente por sus características y forma de aplicación. En este trabajo se realiza una exploración histórica y conceptual del origen de este tributo en el mundo, así como la adaptación en algunos países analizando su efecto y resultados. La metodología utilizada es cualitativa de tipo documental, la cual permitió estudiar leyes, reglamentos y documentos referenciados para analizarla implementación, caracterización, historia, efectos y resultados generados en las economías que los incluyeron en su sistema.	es-ES
