dc.descriptionTo review documents, proposed in a crítical perspective, that address sexual education in health and educational institutions in Latín America, allowing for a better understandíng of this topic in the social field. Method Literature review: a search for Latín American production in Spanish and Portuguese was done, in BDCOL, Digital Library of the CLACS O Network, Scielo, Dialnet, Latindex, Redalyc. 120 descriptive artícles were reviewed: sexual education, teaching, sexuality, school, public policies and genealogy. 40 articles cited in this document were selected. Results: 1he findings reveal Sex Education as a field of knowledge through which political, scientific, religious and social activist discourses transit. 1hese are analyzed as forces of power / knowledge in oppositíon, alignment and contradictíon in constant tension, that refer to the complexíty of the pedagogícal task. Conclusions: Sexual Education is rooted in imbricate hegemonic díscourses that explaín the difficulties of a conceptual approach and face the challenge of rethinking the institutional lije in educational settings.en-US
dc.descriptionRevisar documentos planteados e n perspectiva crítica que aborden la Educación Sexual en las Instituciones de salud y educación en Latinoamérica y permitan ampliar el campo de comprensión social de la temática. Método: Revisión de literatura. Se realizó búsqueda de producción latinoamericana en español y portugués, en BDCOL, Biblioteca digital de la Red CLACSO, Scielo, Dialnet, Latindex, Redalyc. Se revisaron 120 artículos orientados por descriptores: Educación sexual, enseñanza, sexualidad, escuela, políticas públicas y genealogía. Se seleccionaron 40 artículos que se citan en este documento. Resultados: Los hallazgos revelan la Educación Sexual como un campo de saber por donde transitan discursos políticos, científicos, religiosos y de activistas sociales que son analizados como fuerzas de poder/saber en oposición, alineación y contradicción en tensión constante, que remiten a la complejidad de la tarea pedagógica. Conclusiones: La Educación Sexual funde sus raíces en imbricados discursos hegemónicos que explican las dificultades para el abordaje conceptual y enfrentan al desafio de repensar la vida institucional en los escenarios educativos.es-ES
