dc.descriptionEl desconocimiento por parte del guardián acerca de los fines y funciones de la pena, originado en las imprecisiones y vacíos legales sobre la materia y en una insuficiente instrucción penitenciaria, hace que en la cárcel los agentes penitenciarios contribuyan con la crisis de esta institución que representa el capítulo más oscuro e inútil del Derecho Penal, donde se pierde todo el esfuerzo de la doctrina y la jurisprudencia que durante siglos ha tratado de justificar la pena.es-ES
