dc.descriptionThis article is the result of a qualitative, socio-legal, analytical and descriptive research that critically addresses the role of the Theory of Legal Argumentation in the training of law students and in the practice and professional praxis of the lawyer. The main objective of the article is to analyze the relationship between law, morality and justice present in the theory of legal argumentation from classical authors such as Plato, Aristotle, Cicero and Quintilian, and later, from some of the main theories of argumentation that were developed during the 20th century, through which the relationship between morality and argumentation is vivified. The article, among other conclusions, shows the need to reorient the teaching of Law with an approach that recognizes the relationship between law, morality and justice that, in addition, reminds students and legal professionals that, as well as the form and process, truth is important in legal discourse and legal praxis.en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente artículo es resultado de una investigación cualitativa, socio jurídica, analítica y descriptiva que aborda de forma crítica el papel de la Teoría de la Argumentación jurídica en la formación de los estudiantes de derecho y en el ejercicio y en la praxis profesional del abogado. El artículo tiene como principal objetivo analizar la relación entre el derecho, la moralidad y la justicia presente en la teoría de la Argumentación jurídica a partir de autores clásicos como lo son Platón, Aristóteles, Cicerón y Quintiliano, y posteriormente, a partir de algunas de las principales teorías de la argumentación que se desarrollaron durante el siglo XX, mediante las cuales se vivifica la relación entre moralidad y argumentación. El artículo, entre otras conclusiones, muestra la necesidad de reorientar la enseñanza del Derecho con un enfoque que reconozca la relación entre derecho, moralidad y justicia que, además, recuerde a los estudiantes y profesionales del derecho que, así como la forma y el proceso, es importante la verdad en el discurso jurídico y en la praxis jurídica.es-ES
