dc.descriptionThe theses about the concept of history Uber dan Begriffder Geschhicte (1940) are the last philosophic and political papers edited by Walter Benjamin, written between 1939 and 1940 in the middle of the National Socialism rise in Europe.  This is the brief of a Jewish that tries to escape, a victim of the legal violence and its irrational dehumanization that finally obliges the philosopher of Berlin to commit suicide. The theses are a clear demand for justice and compensation for the Victims of violence, those who are socially excluded, against whom injustice was impelled, where a new interpretation of History is proposed, from the standpoint of the defeated, the victims of the historic facts that History takes out of its narrative.  This reading of history requires “a brush against the grain” through memory in order to disclose those details that escape the historian where the holes, invasions and discontinuities show the barbarism that is hidden in this supposed linearity of the historic time, important details for the victim`s justice.  The memory is from this conception of history the tool for the struggle against violence of oblivion and at the same time an ethic guarantee of Redemption and Justice.en-US
dc.descriptionLas “tesis sobre el concepto de historia” Über den Begriff der Geschichte (1940) constituyen el ultimo escrito filosófico y político de Walter Benjamín, redactado entre 1939 y 1940 en medio del ascenso del Nacional Socialismo en Europa. Este documento es el escrito de un judío que intenta escapar, una víctima de la violencia legal y su irracionalidad deshumanizante que, finalmente obliga al filósofo Berlinés a morir acudiendo al Suicidio.  Las tesis son una innegable exigencia de justicia y reparación a las Victimas de la violencia, los excluidos sociales, contra quienes se impuso la injusticia; donde se plantea, realizar una nueva lectura de la Historia desde la perspectiva de los vencidos, las víctimas de los hechos históricos que el Historicismo excluye de su narrativa. Esta lectura de la historia requiere “cepillarla a contrapelo” a través de la memoria para descubrir esos detalles que se le escapan al historiador, en el que las fisuras, las irrupciones, y las discontinuidades develan la barbarie que se oculta en esa supuesta linealidad del tiempo histórico, detalles importantes para la justicia a las víctimas. La memoria es desde esta concepción de la historia una herramienta de lucha contra la violencia del olvido y a su vez un referente ético garante de Redención y Justicia.es-ES
