dc.descriptionThe Political Constitution of 1991 establishes that a woman, when she is pregnant or after giving birth, will have a subsidy from the State; while article 44 says that they are fundamental rights of children: "food ...". In the article 46 it raises the protection of the people of the third age. Despite these constitutional guarantees, children of Venezuelan origin, settled in the Villa Caracas sector of the city of Barranquilla, are subject to the scarcity of food. The methodology used is part of the Hermeneutic Paradigm, with a mixed approach, the study method is the inductive - deductive one. The type of descriptive research. They are used as techniques and instruments: interviews, and text analysis among others. The population is conformed by the Venezuelan migrants settled in the sector villa Caracas of the city of Barranquilla. The general objective is to understand if there is a malnutrition, its characteristics and consequences in Venezuelan children living in the Villa Caracas sector. The main conclusion is the low income of the families since most of them claim to live off the hunt, they do not have a formal joben-US
dc.descriptionLa Constitución Política de 1991 establece que la mujer cuando se encuentre en embarazo o después del parto, tendrá por parte del Estado, un subsidio; mientras que el artículo 44 dice que son derechos fundamentales de los niños: “la alimentación…”. En el artículo 46 plantea la protección de las personas de la tercera edad. A pesar de estas garantías constitucionales los niños de origen venezolano, asentados en el sector Villa Caracas de la ciudad de Barranquilla, se ven sometidos a la escases de alimentos. La metodología utilizada se inscribe en el ámbito del Paradigma Hermenéutico, con un enfoque mixto, el método de estudio es el inductivo - deductivo.  El tipo de investigación descriptivo. Se utilizan como técnicas e instrumentos: entrevistas, y análisis de texto entre otras. La población está conformada por los migrantes venezolanos asentados en el sector villa caracas de la ciudad de Barranquilla. Como objetivo general se tiene la de comprender si existe una desnutrición, sus características y consecuencias en los niños venezolanos radicados en el sector de Villa Caracas La principal conclusión, es el bajo ingreso de la familias ya que la mayoría afirma vivir del rebusque, no poseen un trabajo formal.es-ES
