dc.descriptionCultural heritage is a historical legacy that belongs to a community and is transmitted from generation to generation. It is for this reason that we decided to make a personal compilation and analysis of the historical, structural, and architectural information of the house. Eduardo Santos with the use of studies and literary information on the same for compliance with the historical resolution of the house and the reasons. They led to its transformation to its current state. Throughout this article we will analyze and know the four questions about the historical transformation of the house, starting with the size of the property that is in the beginning that is due to the absence of its owner and that during the change of owners the house was adapted to the size of its members and their needs, through the historical sequence of the house, it is evident the growth of the same with the addition of the north, south and east body, in addition to the second floor. As its uses also generated its expansion they also entailed a deterioration, that during the time in which it functioned as the school that made several reforms that damaged its structure and its original architectural conception, then it becomes part of the inventory of the state and goes into neglect to take it to the ruin where it is today.en-US
dc.descriptionEl patrimonio cultural es un legado histórico que pertenece a una comunidad y se transmite de generaciónen generación. Es por este motivo que se decide hacer una recopilación y análisis personal sobre la información histórica, estructural y arquitectónica de la casa Eduardo Santos mediante el uso de estudios e información literaria existente sobre la misma para establecer cuál fue la evolución histórica de la casa y qué motivos la conllevaron a su transformación hasta su estado actual. A lo largo de este artículo se analiza y se abarcan cuatro hipótesis acerca de la transformación histórica de la casa, empezando por el tamaño del inmueble que en un principio fue mínimo debido a la ausencia de su dueño y que durante el cambio de propietarios la casa se fue adaptando al tamaño de sus miembros y de sus necesidades, a través de la secuencia histórica de la casa, es evidente el crecimiento de la misma con la adición de los cuerpo norte , sur y oriental, además del segundo piso. Así como sus usos generaron su ampliación también conllevaron a su deterioro, ya que durante la época en la que funciono como colegio se le hicieron varias reformas que desmejoraron su estructura y su concepción arquitectónica original, posteriormente se vuelve parte del inventario del estado y entra en abandono hasta llevarla a la ruina en la que se encuentra hoy en día.es-ES
