dc.descriptionLa dramática situación por la contaminación en cuerpos de agua en Colombia por aguas servidas donde el 70% llega a los ríos sin ser tratada y que posteriormente se utiliza para diferentes actividades, como irrigar cultivos generando una problemática de inocuidad y por ende causando tropiezos en la salud pública. En Fuentedeoro (Meta), EDESA es la empresa que presta el servicio de acueducto y alcantarillado, esta cuenta con una amplia red que recorre todo el casco urbano del municipio; sin embargo, la disposición final culmina en un vertimiento directo al caño Curalito sin una PTAR, evento que ha provocado una degradación ecosistémica, olores agresivos, vectores que pueden ocasionar enfermedades, plagas y además este Caño desemboca en el Rio Ariarí perturbando las actividades económicas en municipios aledaños. Mediante un enfoque metodológico de estudio de caso con una sola unidad de observación con un tipo de Investigación Evaluativa- Proyectivo se anhela plantear un esquema de decisiones mediante la aplicación de un cuadro de mando; con la finalidad de que la institución pública y los actores privados se vinculen en algunos aspectos de los vertimientos para así conseguir determinar los factores de éxito en las estrategias que contribuyan al manejo sostenible del recurso hídrico enfocándose en un pre-tratamiento para las aguas residuales del Caño Curalito en el municipio bajo un enfoque de gobernabilidad y fortalecimiento institucional.
dc.descriptionThe major part of the dramatic situation of the rivers, streams and water sources in Colombia is due to the waste water, 70% of this water arrives to the rivers without being treated and is later used for different activities between them irrigating crops, thus generating a huge problematic to the public health. EDESA is the enterprise in charge of the whole Fuentedeoro’s (Meta) aqueduct network; nevertheless their waste water final disposition consists only in sending it directly to the Caño Curalito because they lack a water treatment plant. This behaviour has inflicted great damage on the ecosystem, an offensive smell in the area, plagues, detriment in the productive system of the municipality, and to make it even worse this Caño flows into the Ariarí River interfering with the economic activities such as fishing, which is vital for the nearby municipalities. For this investigation a study case as methodological approach was chosen with only one observation unit, the type of research used corresponds to the evaluative – projective, employing these a decision scheme and a control panel were constructed. Finally the public institutions and private actors concerned were contacted in order to link them up to some aspects related to the waste water treatment and to consult them about the critical success factors for the sustainable management of the water resources in the municipality of Fuentedeoro (Meta) always privileging the initiatives related to the pre-treatment of the water with a focus of governance and institutional strengthening.
