dc.descriptionLa inadecuada gestión de estos residuos es tan evidente que se observa en la contaminación de las fuentes hídricas, aire, y suelo, alterando los ecosistemas generando perdida de la diversidad biológica, fauna y flora y la modificación del paisaje natural, exponiendo la salud humana poniendo en riesgo la calidad de vida de las actuales y futuras generaciones.Incurrir y permear estas rutinas y hábitos de la población de la vereda de San Luis a la hora de desechar sus residuos no es tarea fácil, por lo tanto la estrategia de la educación y participación comunitaria es una opción, mediante la cual se plantearan programas, actividades y talleres que permitan que la comunidad residente en la vereda conozca primero su territorio al ser este una dotado de una riqueza hídrica y de esta manera fortalecer un sentido de pertenencia para finalmente crear una conciencia y realizar un tratamiento adecuado de los residuos.
