| dc.description | Colombia begins its post-conflict stage after more than 60 years of armed confrontation between groups outside the law and the State, therefore, it is pertinent and vital to support this process from the academy, encouraging the understanding of the conflict from education. In this sense, adopting the Chair of UNESCO, created to promote sustainable development and the culture of peace from education, allows the creation of the Chair of Peace with Law 1732 of 2014, as a tool to be implemented in a mandatory manner by all educational institutions, at all levels of education. The aim of this Chair is to create competencies and promote knowledge related to peace, which revolves around three areas: Culture of Peace, Education for Peace and Sustainable Development. In these terms, this article makes a conceptual recount of peace as a human right,and of the importance of the chair of peace in the Colombian post-conflict. | en-US |
| dc.description | Colombia inicia su etapa de posconflicto después de más de 60 años de confrontación armada entre grupos al margen de la ley y el Estado; por tanto, resulta pertinente y de vital importancia respaldar desde la academia este proceso, incentivando la comprensión del conflicto desde la educación. En este sentido, adoptar la Cátedra de la UNESCO, creada para fomentar el desarrollo sostenible y la cultura de paz desde la educación, permite la creación de la Cátedra de Paz con la Ley 1732 de 2014 como una herramienta a implementar de manera obligatoria por todas las instituciones educativas, en todos los niveles de educación. Esta cátedra tiene comofinalidad crear competencias y fomentar conocimientos relacionados con la paz, que gira en torno a tres ejes: Cultura de paz, Educación para la paz y Desarrollo sostenible. En estos términos, el presente artículo hace un recuento conceptual de la paz como derecho humano y de la importancia de la cátedra de paz en el posconflicto colombiano. | es-ES |
