dc.descriptionEn la actualidad la comunicación por telefonía móvil tiene una tendencia de uso creciente, lo que ha permitido un amplio desarrollo en infraestructura para satisfacer las necesidades de los usuarios frente a los operadores móviles. Existen muchos lugares en Colombia que son de difícil acceso para los operadores móviles, lo que ha restringido su cobertura y el avance de las distintas tecnologías en estas regiones del país, encontrando en las comunicaciones satelitales una buena solución para superar las dificultades geográficas y fisiográficas de las poblaciones. El presente trabajo se enfoca en el diseño de un enlace satelital punto a punto como sistema backhaul para comunicaciones móviles en la ciudad de Leticia, dicho enlace conectará la ciudad de Bogotá y la ciudad de Leticia para transmitir el tráfico generado por la comunicación móvil en las tecnologías 2G y 3G.
dc.descriptionCurrently, mobile telephony communication has a growing trend of use, which has allowed a broad development in infrastructure to meet the needs of users in front of mobile operators. There are many places in Colombia that are difficult for mobile operators to access, which has restricted their coverage and the advancement of different technologies in these regions of the country, finding in satellite communications a good solution to overcome the geographic and physiographic difficulties of the populations. The present work focuses on the design of a point-to-point satellite link as a backhaul system for mobile communications in the city of Leticia, this link will connect the city of Bogotá and the city of Leticia to transmit the traffic generated by mobile communication in the 2G and 3G technologies.
