dc.descriptionEn la última década el Gobierno Nacional se ha concientizado de la importancia del uso y acceso a la información Geográfica dando como resultado lineamientos y el desarrollo de políticas como lo es el CONPES 3585, que establece la consolidación de un Banco de Imágenes. Es así como nace la necesidad para las diferentes instituciones, en especial aquellas de carácter público, el administrar, guardar y compartir las imágenes provenientes de sensores remotos, las cuales actualmente son un insumo importante para la generación de datos espaciales para la toma de decisiones. El objetivo principal de este proyecto es la estructuración de un Banco de imágenes provenientes de sensores remotos para el Instituto de Hidrología, Meteorología y Estudios Ambientales de Colombia IDEAM, a partir de una base teórica y metodológica para el diseño, implementación de un prototipo, con imágenes existentes en la entidad, con el fin de que se puedan visualizar y descargar por cualquier usuario a través de la red desde un visor geográfico institucional.
dc.descriptionIn the last decade the National Government has become aware of the importance of the use and access to Geographic information resulting in guidelines and the development of policies such as CONPES 3585, which establishes the consolidation of an Image Bank. This is how the need arises for the different institutions, especially those of a public nature, to manage, save and share images from remote sensors, which are currently an important input for the generation of spatial data for decision making. The main objective of this project is the structuring of a Bank of images from remote sensors for the Instituto de Hidrología, Meteorología y Estudios Ambientales de Colombia IDEAM, based on a theoretical and methodological basis for the design, implementation of a prototype, with Existing images in the entity, so that they can be viewed and downloaded by any user through the network from an institutional geographic viewer.
