dc.descriptionEn la actualidad los colombianos se enfrentan a un grave problema de fraudes en los procesos. Esta situación sucede en procesos de todo tipo: desde el trámite de una licencia de conducción hasta el registro de personas en el sistema educativo. Se evidencia una clara falencia de los entes reguladores en esta materia, ya que no cuentan con un mecanismo con fiable y seguro con el cual hacer seguimiento a dichos procesos. Gracias a avances tecnológicos recientes se sabe que existen herramientas que permiten certificar la autenticidad de cualquier tipo de transacción. Una de estas herramientas, conocida como Blockchain, es una tecnología innovadora en la gestión de registros de transacciones. Cada operación realizada bajo esta tecnología es pública, segura e inmutable. El concepto de Blockchain aplicado en un sistema de información podría aportar a la solución de la problemática mencionada, en este caso particular, el registro de personas en el sistema de educación colombiano.
dc.descriptionCurrently, colombians face a critical problem about fraud. This condition spreads through all kinds of processes: from a driver's license issue to the registration of citizens on the education system. There is a clear failure of the regulatory entities on this matter, due to lack of a secure and trustworthy mechanism for supporting forementioned processes. Thanks to the latest technology developments it is widely known there are tools which allow to certify the authenticity of any kind of transaction. One of them, known as Blockchain, is an innovative technology for managing transactional records. Each operation made under this technology is public, secure and immutable. Applying the Blockchain concept into an information system could aid considerably in the solving of the observed problematics, particularly regarding people registration in the colombian education system.
