dc.descriptionEste proyecto presenta el análisis preliminar, diseño e implementación de un prototipo software para el apoyo a la rehabilitación de pacientes con lesiones de tejido en extremidad inferior mediante captura de movimiento. El prototipo evalúa los movimientos realizados por el paciente acorde a las especificaciones dadas por el médico especialista, la información de captura de movimiento obtenida se procesa de manera automática con el objetivo de presentar retroalimentación inmediata sobre el desempeño de los ejercicios ejecutados, como resultado se busca reducir la necesidad diaria de desplazarse hacia clínicas de rehabilitación.
dc.descriptionThe following document presents the preliminary analysis, design and implementation of a motion capture based prototype to support the physical rehabilitation of soft tissue injuries, the software evaluates the movements according to the specifications given from the physiotherapist, the data acquired is handled automatically with the purpose of providing instant feedback on screen about the performance of the executed movements, as a result, we strive to reduce the need of traveling to an assigned rehabilitation clinic on a daily basis.
