dc.descriptionDurante el desarrollo de un diseño eléctrico se debe tener consideraciones especiales que buscan el óptimo funcionamiento de la red además del cuidado y protección de las personas que harán uso de ellas, es así que toma suma importancia el conocimiento de las diferentes normas que rigen los diseños con el fin de garantizar el pleno funcionamiento, la seguridad y confiabilidad que garanticen la integridad del usuario. En el caso particular de las instalaciones eléctricas hospitalarias se debe considerar un nivel más alto en cuanto a la confiabilidad y seguridad, debido a que es un hospital donde se puede encontrar casos en que los equipos médicos alimentados por el suministro eléctrico pueden llegar a entrar en contacto directo con el paciente, situación que de no ser segura, afectaría la integridad del paciente. Es así como se busca agilizar los procesos del diseño mediante una metodología que tiene como finalidad direccionar al diseñador.
