dc.descriptionEl objetivo de este trabajo consistió en desarrollar e implementar una extensión del programa SIG de escritorio ArcGIS, que tuviese la funcionalidad de zonificar el territorio de acuerdo a las variables biofísicas y socioeconómicas definidas en la actualización metodológica para el cálculo de las Unidades Agrícolas Familiares (UAF) en el país, con el ánimo de proponer una solución al proceso de obtención de Zonas Relativamente Homogéneas (ZRH), que tradicionalmente se realiza en lapsos de tiempo relativamente largos, a causa del geoprocesamiento de información, cuya manipulación conlleva esfuerzos repetitivos que repercuten en costes de tiempo y dinero para la entidad a cargo. A partir de este problema se plantea una solución para automatizar el proceso de homogenización del territorio por ZRH, con el desarrollo del plugin “ZRH” para el software ArcGIS.
dc.descriptionThe objective of this work was to develop and implement an extension of the ArcGIS desktop GIS program, which had the functionality of zoning the territory according to the biophysical and socioeconomic variables defined in the methodological update for the calculation of the Family Agricultural Units (UAF) ) in the country, with the aim of proposing a solution to the process of obtaining Relatively Homogenous Zones (ZRH), which traditionally takes place in relatively long periods of time, due to the geoprocessing of information, whose manipulation entails repetitive efforts that impact on costs of time and money for the entity in charge. From this problem a solution is proposed to automate the process of homogenization of the territory by ZRH, with the development of the "ZRH" plugin for the ArcGIS software.
