dc.descriptionSe encontró que en la zona rural de Pasquilla, corregimiento de la Localidad de Ciudad Bolívar, se implementó un punto digital, el cual actualmente se encuentra cerrado y sin funcionamiento. En el corregimiento solo cuentan con dos salas de informática pequeñas que están dentro del Colegio Rural Pasquilla IED, con acceso deficiente a internet refiriéndonos a la navegación, servicio que es cubierto por el Ministerio de educación. Existe actualmente una brecha digital en la población, la cual que se caracteriza por pertenecer a la población donde sus ingresos económicos son bajos. De esta manera surge como alternativa realizar el estudio de pre-factibilidad para la readecuación del punto digital ubicado dentro de la población que implique bajo costo, a través de herramientas de Software Libre. Lo que quiere decir que el funcionamiento del punto digital no estaría ligado a restricciones económicas por los vencimientos del licenciamiento de Software comercial, adicionalmente se cuenta con el espacio que ya había funcionado como punto digital. Espacio que estará orientado a satisfacer las necesidades de los diferentes grupos sociales de la población de conectarse a Internet y aplicaciones educativas a través de recursos tecnológicos.

There is currently a digital divide in the population, which is characterized by belonging to the population where their income is low. In this way, it is possible to carry out the pre-feasibility study for the readjustment of the digital point located within the population that implies low cost, through Free Software tools. What this means is that the operation of the digital point would not be linked to economic restrictions due to the expiration of commercial software licensing, in addition there is the space that had already functioned as a digital point. Space that will be oriented to satisfy the needs of the different social groups of the population to connect to Internet and educational applications through technological resources.
