dc.descriptionLa presente investigación estudia el modelamiento y análisis de los posibles pasajes de movilidad de los vehículos de combate del ejército de Bolivia, ante una eventual invasión en el Chaco paraguayo. Para pesquisa se han utilizado las herramientas de Sistemas de Información Geográfica (S.I.G.), las cuales por medio del análisis espacial y de redes, permiten identificar y caracterizar las rutas más probables entre dos puntos teniendo en cuenta variables como: la pendiente del terreno, la hidrografía, la vegetación, las características de suelo, el clima y las limitaciones de movilidad de los vehículos; además de establecer las distancias y el tiempo de recorrido. Con éstos análisis se pretenden determinar una previsión estratégica de la acción militar y la planificación de defensa en la frontera, en caso de una potencial incursión mecanizada para la ocupación de la ciudad de Mariscal José Félix Estigarribia del departamento de Boquerón.
dc.descriptionThe present investigation studies the modeling and analysis of the possible passages of mobility of the combat vehicles of the army of Bolivia, before an eventual invasion in the Paraguayan Chaco. For research, the tools of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have been used, which through spatial analysis and networks, allow identifying and characterizing the most probable routes between two points taking into account variables such as: the slope of the land, the hydrography, vegetation, soil characteristics, climate and mobility limitations of vehicles; in addition to establishing distances and travel times. These analyzes are intended to determine a strategic forecast of military action and defense planning at the border, in the event of a potential mechanized incursion for the occupation of the city of Mariscal José Félix Estigarribia from the department of Boquerón.
