dc.descriptionEn los últimos años la comunidad científica ha mostrado un permanente interés en el desarrollo de sistemas de detección asistidos por computador. Por otra parte, la incidencia de mortalidad a causa del cáncer de mama genera preocupación entre científicos de diferentes especialidades, además de ser considerado un problema de salud pública a nivel mundial. La razones anteriores han originado el desarrollo de sistemas para la detección de lesiones en mamografías por parte de científicos de diferentes parte del mundo. En este documento se expone una revisión literaria que motiva el inicio del diseño de un sistema para la detección de lesiones en la mama a partir de mamografías digitales. Las secciones posteriores se presentan como ruta para el inicio en el estudio, la investigación, el desarrollo y el diseño; de sistemas de detección de lesiones en mamografías digitales. Con el desarrollo de la metodología expuesta en este documento se logró evaluar un conjunto de sistemas de detección de lesiones en mamografías digitales. Los resultados muestran tasas de exactitud promedio de hasta 96%.
dc.descriptionIn recent years the scientific community has shown a permanent interest in the development of computer-assisted detection systems. In addition, the incidence of mortality due to breast cancer generates concern among scientists of different specialties, besides being considered a public health problem worldwide. The above reasons have led to the development of systems for the detection of lesions in mammograms by scientists from different parts of the world. This document presents a literary review that motivates the beginning of the design of a system for the detection of lesions in the breast from digital mammograms. Subsequent sections are presented as a way to initiate the study, research, development and design of injury detection systems in digital mammography. The development of the methodology described in this document allowed to evaluate a set of systems for the detection of lesions in digital mammograms. The results show average accuracy rates of up to 96%
