dc.descriptionThe relatives go hunting and leave two sisters making chicha de casabe. They are in love with a very handsome man, who appears very well-groomed. They start dancing, and slowly they approach the river bank. The older sister hugs him completely while the younger sister only holds the tip of his hand. When they reach the edge, the younger sister realizes that they are about to fall into a whirlpool and escapes. The older sister continues hugging and the the two fall into the whirlpool. This recording is part of the collection of mythis, stories and songs collected by the Karijona Linguistics Seedbed (Department of Linguistics, Faculty of Human Sciences, Bogotá campus of UNAL) collected from the Karijona people in the Caquetá and Vaupés Rivers between 1985 and 2021 .
dc.descriptionLos parientes salen de cacería y dejan a las dos hermanas haciendo chicha de casabe. Ellas estan enamoradas de un hombre muy apuesto, que llega, muy arreglado. Comienzan a bailar, y poco a poco van hacia la orilla del río. La hermana mayor lo abraza completamente mientras que la menor solo le sotiene la punta de la mano. Cuando llegan al borde, la hermana menor se da cuenta que estan a punto de caer en un remolino y se suelta. La hermana mayor sigue abrazada y caen en el remolino. Esta grabación hace parte de la colección de relatos, historias y cantos recogidos por el Semillero de Lingüística Karijona (Departamento de Lingüística, Facultad de Ciencias Humanas, Sede Bogotá UNAL) recogidos del pueblo Karijona en el río Caquetá y el río Vaupés entre 1985 y 2021.
